Location: Baía das Gatas (Bay of the cat fish), St Vincent Island

Baía das Gatas: It’s a beautiful bay, naturally separated from the sea by volcanic formations, surrounded by mountains. 12 km (7,5 miles) away from the city of Mindelo, this place is recognized for its Music Festival (Popular and World), that ever since 1984 takes place each year the first full moon weekend in August.
In Baía das Gatas there are two restaurants and a host house. East of the village there’s a small community of fishermen (sail-boats), whose activity further colours the place.

Activities: For nature lovers, it’s the perfect place for mountain and sea activities (walking, cycling, diving and fishing).

Description: family cottage, built up in 2005, 100 m (10 yards) away from the beach, with terrace and balcony, two bedrooms (one of them with one double bed, the other with two single beds), living room, equipped kitchen and bathroom, and one extra room upstairs, with an area of 30 m2 (300 sq feet), provided with one bed-couch.

Things within: gas stove; micro-wave; grill; refrigerator; iron; ironing board; TV set. Sheets and towels.

Services: It’s possible to obtain cleaning and other domestic services at reasonable prices, and transportation from and to the airport, if needed.

Open: All the year round. Minimal stay 3 days.

Capacity: Maximum 6 people.

Price: 50 Euros a day.
